Lasko (#5), Bush Jr (#12), and a Gonzalez (#8) to the Rays.

Tampa super aggressive this deadline while Getz asleep at the wheel.

Lesko.

Padres had just three guys for the back end.

Now they have four to tip the balance.

Heard Fairbanks going to a NY team as well.

Seems certain SD will add a 3/4 starter to really lock in postseason contention.

Finally Tatis back in about 2-3 weeks.

I don't think the Sox are interested in Lesko. It's one reason they couldn't come close on a Crochet deal.

It's a nice return for a reief pitcher but doesn't look like the kind of return that would entice the Sox for Fedde.

Lesko has promise but Padres probably not enamored with his results thus far.

Also a pitcher and catcher in the return which seems to be a running theme in prospects given up in many trades. Tough to pry high level INF and OF  prospects as a headliner and Getz has to be stressing that.

All 3 players A+ and lower level guys

Lesko and Snelling really regressed this year.

About as much or more than Montgomery.

And Iowa's Mazur hardly ready...Preller still dumped a big prospect name knowing he would fail this year down the stretch

Wonder if De Vrieze and Snelling other two TB options to choose from???

And Preller must know the insider status of Darvish (family issue) and Musgrove (banged up like Shields in SD at the end).

Personally, I’ve heard way too many past quotes from Hahn that go something like “We were waiting for the market to present itself” or whatever as a reason for not being aggressive/missing opportunities.

And as a Sox fan, I’m programmed to assume history will repeat itself and/or expect the worst.

Well Getz was under his tutelage so….

We shall see.
