Not like there were stars flying from one team to the next. Also, why would teams be more willing to move top 100 prospects at years end (which just happened this past off season) but not at deadline? Neither was built through selling off veterans. now the White Sox rebuild, which lasted two years, was maybe 65%-70% via selling veterans. even teams that are good traders, don’t really do it through top 100 players. Yeah I am sure it will be more successful overall, but to call it successful already would mean you'd have to think the Sox one was successful. Which we know it wasn't.
