Plus the team only has a handful of vocal fans, all on this board. Nobody else cares enough to say anything. Looking back, the Sox should have kept LaRussa or hired Leyland during the Hawk era for 30 years and kept Dombroski and with the two of them the Sox woulda been a proud franchise. Looking back, the hiring of Hawk as GM started the agony. In retrospect the '05 title was the fluke people are talking about. Law of averages clicked in and Sox dominated the postseason.
