Yep, I was just hoping he would pitch as well as he did for the Padres and the Sox could flip him immediately with his multiple years of control. Everything went to crap except for Crochet and Fedde. WhiteSox2023 Posted August 5 Share Posted August 5 The White Sox plan to promote Ky Bush from Triple-A Charlotte to start against the Athletics on Monday. It will be the MLB debut for the 24-year-old southpaw who was acquired from the Angels in the Lucas Giolito trade. Bush has really struggled in four outings (two starts) since getting promoted to Triple-A Charlotte on July 1 — posting a 6.16 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and a 16/10 K/BB ratio over 19 innings — making the timing of the promotion a bit interesting. It sucks, but im taking a lot of peoples performances this season with a grain of salt. This is just a toxic mess of a situation to have to play in every single day. Example, the other night when Benintendi inexplicably just let the ball drop out in front of him and the rails went off Wilson's outing. He should have been out of there with no damage, but ends up giving up 5 "earned" runs. Season is going miserable, they obviously get nothing from Grifol. Its just no good all around. Pretty small sample, and he was REALLY good in AA. His overall 2024 line is really solid.
