No reason to pull Davis in that situation with our record.  Does Grifol think there is a monster that attacks starters lurking on the other side of the sixth inning?

These games would be soooo much better if there was!

Today marked the 23rd time...23 times, the Sox had a lead going into the 7th inning or later...and lost.

All you can do is laugh at this buffoonish bullpen and the stiffs that populate it.

The bullpen is awful but so is the offense. In the two losses, they scored three runs. But don't worry, the rebuild will only take a decade or so.

Pet peeve: Win probability during games.

Sox had 70.6 percent win probability in the second inning. Cmon. That's ridiculous. If that was the Sox win probability, then get rid of that stupid stat. Anybody with a brain or AI network knows our win probability was still about 20 percent at that point of the game.

Also ... such bad hitting again today. Vargas? Seems pretty lousy to me.

Pedro said he liked the Touki match up. Ozzie questioned how could you like the Touki match up when he’s been in the minor leagues all year. There wasn’t any info. Just some more Pedro BS.

“The Touki Matchup” sounds like some quirky Netflix teenage rom-com, like some spin-off of “Never Have I Ever.”

Back to Vargus.  Getz obviously played right into Dodgers' plans. No way were they going to keep Vargus on the roster once their injured guys came back.  He had DFA written all over him. Getz could have waited 2 weeks and he would get Vargus for a token.

Yeah, but how could we have known that someone else with a higher waiver priority wouldn’t have come snatched him up?

LA was not going to DFA Vargas.
