Is mediocrity rather than awfulness our fave team's destiny for 2025? Do you folks think mediocrity is around the corner or another 40-45 win season? Sox are scoring. i’m not sure anyone can answer that question. The key is going to be players like Ramos, Fletcher, Lee, Baldwin, Robert, Vaughn and Sheets can they become better at hitting? if they are struggle again next year, it’s going to be another ugly season. If they all can improve, maybe a 60 to 70 win team.

They are playing the other two worst teams in the American League. They didn’t figure something out, they are playing bad teams. Things will return to normal when they play San Diego and Detroit.

The Angels pitcher last night has a 6.05 ERA. The A’s pitchers starters were 4.94 and 4.24. There is the source of your hitting success the last couple games.

Benintendi has come around also, he’s healthy and we’re seeing what we thought what kind of a player he was but defensively he’s another Ralph Garr, worst arm I’ve ever seen for an outfielder.

Take the last three games against the other two AL bottom feeders and his OPS is .643 for September. Let’s not declare things fixed because of a couple decent games against teams 13 and 14 in the league.

Robert likely to be traded and Vaughn and sheets are just guys, probably could be moved or DFAed and wouldn’t matter 1
