Tomas
Great job by the GM of assembling this team. If you can't win the World Series might as well be the worst team in MLB. Congratulations Getz.

Rusty
18 minutes ago, Chick Mercedes said: What, Jerry is out of touch, or a bold bullshitter on the level of a presidential candidate This actually makes sense. Not to delve into politics, but Jerry seems to parallel quite a bit with DT. Trump is more vocal in public but their underlying personalities seem similar.
Texsox
I'll accept the premise that if a team is close to championship level promoting someone in house makes sense. (I'll disagree that the team was that close, but that's a different argument) Now that there are few, if any, players on the forty man roster that a championship team could be built around I believe a reevaluation of the GM position is warranted. Perhaps after this reevaluation JR may still believe Getz is the right guy (again I'll disagree) but at least it would mean a realization that it takes a different skill set to start from nothing versus starting with a championship core that needs just a little tweaking. H pe was available during the 2005 playoffs and in 2021. Other than that, he only has time to waste thinking the state will build him a new park. He finally spoke last year and mentioned the fans deserve this situation get fixed quickly. Well, the fans deserve an explanation of what’s going on now. There’s bad, and there’s this. 4-40?
