Flores runs a defense that can throw fits on a rookie qb so curious how Caleb and offense follow this week up. Would be great to see more positive momentum from Caleb and the offense. The Vikings disguise blitzes well and offer many different looks, but the improvement in Caleb last week against the blitz was huge. Could be a good sign for next week: Edited Monday at 10:34 PM by almagest

So while previous 2 weeks were bad - this bounce back was good and he has had some other pretty positive weeks as well.
Kyyle23
I think the key for Caleb is keep it moving. I don’t think Waldron was thinking far ahead enough and the whole process was herky jerky. He pointed out that Brown had the play in his ear immediately and it gave him time to think about it more
greg775
Are the Bears going to have to fire another head coach ... again?? If so hire Deion Sanders. Case closed. Glory days return FINALLY. He won't stand for front office incompetence and bad QB play baby.

caulfield12
Do the Bears actually want to pay $10 million to Sanders? Right now he's on a $29.5 million, five year deal...his son will be drafted in the first round next year and he's got one year left with Travis Hunter, in theory. The combination of this success intertwined with Deion’s personality has brought the school more attention than it could have ever imagined. Colorado’s online team store sales were up 2,544% last year. The school’s social media accounts have added more than a million followers over the past two years, and the Buffaloes played in five of college football’s top 25 most-watched games last year, selling out every single home game. .... The Flutie Effect often takes a few years to play out. However, Colorado has expedited this process by averaging 7.2 million viewers during its prime-time games last year. As a result, the Boulder-based school received a record 68,000 applicants for fall 2024, a 20% increase from 2023. The school ended up extending offers to 51,000 students, and enrollment increased 3.4% year-over-year, from 37,153 in 2023 to 38,428 in 2024. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/why-deion-sanders-30-million-contract-is-a-bargain-for-colorado/ar-AA1tzVOS?ocid=BingNewsSerp Edited Tuesday at 01:40 AM by caulfield12

Bears go through head coaches as often as it snows in Chicago in winter. b.) Deion has been tied to both FSU and the Cowboys. c.) I swear I don't make many political posts anymore cause I learned my lesson on here. For you to remember I like Rogan and Maher is very interesting/intriguing/impressive. It says greg's posts can be thought-provoking which can be valuable to a message board discussion. I think the Bears should hire Bill Self as the next head coach. Might be controversial, but he’s a really good coach, think it could translate into football.

Greg, boxing matches have been fixed throughout history. Have you noticed that Jake Paul has boxed retired NBA players, former MMA fighters, and a YouTuber? Mike Tyson basically got a $20 million dollar payday to “put over” Paul. Jake Paul’s boxing career is about as real as his brother’s wrestling. Why hasn’t he faced an active boxer in his prime? Because it’s all artificially created hype and apparently some people are buying into it. I don’t want to believe it but this guy was employed by the McCaskeys lol the likelihood of them winning 4 is pretty low imo, basically have to beat vikings and lions at home and then Seattle and 49ers

Chisoxfn
I'm pretty confident he is gone. So I'm in the opposite camp. None of us will ever know what Poles thought even this past off-season, maybe ownership said if you feel real strongly fine, but otherwise give it another year and than we can pivot, who knows. At this point though - this many seasons in, there is no scenario, outside of going on a run where this team finishes strong and makes the playoffs - do I see Flus staying. So if they win a couple more games - he's done. If they literally build on this Packer's game and than go rattle off 5 of 6 (or whatever is left) - than yeah, at that point I see the scenario where they are bringing him back. But if they are 8-9 or 7-10...it ain't happening. Poles last year probably bought himself an extra year in his own run by sticking with Flus because he at least gets 2 years with his 2nd head coach, so by waiting one year, he basically guarantees himself a 6 year era to show that he can make it work. I might disagree with that logic and we all know my view was to move on and get Harbaugh, but I get that this people in those types of roles sometimes put that broader mindset to work (not saying it is right either). But yeah - I'm opposite of you guys, I see zero scenario they keep him, barring a complete run into the playoffs (which I'd be shocked at). I will state - most important thing is to see development 2H of the season. I'll also notate, hindisght wise, its a good thing the hard of the schedule came end of the year vs. beginning - because I think had it been inverse the odds of Flus going on a real run that would have created a mirage would have been a real risk. If he goes on a run this year and through this gauntlet - than to some extent I can't ignore how impressive that would be (despite most of that mess being his own doing). Again - no chance it happens cause he can't help himself get in the way of wins.
caulfield12
"I'm happy where I am," Deion Sanders said. "I'm good. I've got a kickstand down. You know what a kickstand is? A lot of people in here not of age, don't now what a kickstand is. "That means I'm resting. I'm good. I'm happy. I'm excited. I'm enthusiastic about where I am. I love it here, I truly do." So Sanders isn't interested in the Cowboys or anywhere else. Or so he says with two games remaining in a regular season that could end with a berth in the College Football Playoff. Why would Sanders kill those vibes by acknowledging that he's considering employment elsewhere? If, indeed, he actually is. Will there be an opening in Dallas? Sanders wasn't asked directly about the Cowboys on Tuesday. But a day after the Cowboys' blowout loss to the Texans to drop them to 0-5 at home, the implication was clear. https://sports.yahoo.com/deion-sanders-dismisses-chatter-about-leaving-colorado-for-cowboys-i-love-it-here-i-truly-do-232305097.html
