Harry Chappas
The Carolina trade is looking less and less like the Herschel Walker trade as each game goes by. You can add Tyle Scott as another high picked that was wasted. Same as Velus. Scott can't even make the active roster. After they go 4-13 will Poles be called out or no? Harbaugh is the reversal of TLR. Chicago can't get anything right. Poles got Hahn'd there. Warren was a nice hire on paper and seems to like to hire non football related people but on the football side what does he know about anything? Why was he let go by the B1G? This is the epitome of a rudderless ship. Eberflus (who Poles and Warren backed) is this year's fall guy, Poles will be next year's fall guy, the HC Poles hires will be the following year's falle guy and then 7 or 8 years from now Warren will take a job outside of football and Trace Armstrong will take over. I have traded in my fandom to the Pittsburgh Steelers and really don't care much about baseball outside of the White Sox but will root for the Brewers and Cardinals.

Kevin Zeitler was out there for $6 million and Poles gave that money to Gerald Everett instead. How you draft a "generational" QB, yet leave him with that toilet bowl of an offensive line is almost negligence. 1

Again I cannot reiterate enough how Poles and Warren are somehow getting a free pass on screwing this up. George the ticket salesman is a complete buffoon stuck in the 1940's. Williams will be on his third head coach and amazingly fourth OC when next season kicks off. The ineptitude has reached new lows up there with Poles and Warren and that is really saying something.

Neither of them are getting a free pass, at all. Poles seat is hot, both nationally and locally, and the target has definitely fallen on Warren now that he has failed to get his one job done. He’ll just look at this thread and how we are evaluating those two? Honestly don’t know how you think they are skating by, not even a little bit from my view. If they crash out this season and lose out, which is very possible, I could definitely see Poles losing his job

If they crash out this season and lose out, which is very possible, I could definitely see Poles losing his job The media I heard last week was about Thomas Brown getting an opportunity and what he would need to do to be the next head coach. Maybe I was expecting more heat or not paying attention which is good then and I am sadly happy to be wrong as I wished they all worked out. I will agree that the narrative seems to be changing but I viewed the season as lost after the Patriots game and yesterday looks like this team has a real culture problem that goes much further than Eberflus and Waldron so you are right. I thought Poles was certainly safe prior to yesterday. It took Dan McNeil of all people to begin the narrative of Warren v Harbaugh and what a huge miss that was. It will be a minor miracle for them to win 5 games this year. If they are going to hamstring their hirings to fit what George and Virginia want and now add Warren's ego, I am not certain anything is changing any time soon. If Poles was on board with Eberflus when he was hired and doubled down earlier this year with no pushback from Warren, they should both be gone. The next question are they prepared to pay for a legitimate coach while paying Eberflus $5M a year for the next 2 years.

The 49ers were able to sack Caleb a few times with only rushing 3 defenders, and it wasn't Caleb holding on to the ball too long either, no one was open and the defenders were on CW really quickly. Pathetic OL. Williams does look like the real thing though, doesn't turn the ball over and has looked good overall even with the huge disadvantage of being a rookie QB in a dysfunctional NFL franchise. Kid deserves so much more than this s%*# show. Edited December 9 by MexSoxFan#

Tony
Silvy was on the radio today saying he’s heard that Poles was told when he was hired he would be reporting straight to ownership, and he wasn’t happy when Warren was brought in. He went on to say while he hasn’t heard anything about his future, he wouldn’t be surprised after the season, if they end with 4 wins, there is a “mutual” parting of ways. And honestly, the more you think about it, I don’t know how it makes sense for Poles to come back. You’re going to have a new HC/Staff, and we’ll be on Year 4 of Poles, and his record is…not impressive. If they suck again next season, there is almost no way you can bring him back..so now Poles hired that new coach, now Poles is gone, new GM comes in and doesn’t have his coach or his roster…and the cycle of suck continues. If they replace Poles, it will take a bit for Warren and the "search" committee to hire his replacement. After Bill Polian tells them who to hire we will be left with the left overs. Rinse and Repeat, the bears bear everytime.

It’s very “Bears” anyway they do it. But if they have any hope with Caleb at QB, they need to get the right coach/GM in the building ASAP. If they don’t think it’s Poles, then cut bait now

I'm tempted to buy you all a steak dinner at Gibson's if they win another game. But give them a few billion to erect a monstrosity on our lakefront and all will be well. Just like it was when they ruined Arlington Park for the few racing fans left. Build it there, you morons.

Poles absolutely has to go this offseason. It is the only way to save whatever is left of this so-called Bears rebuild. This team still has so many holes all over the roster and seems years away from competing. Fire the entire coaching staff and front office in the offseason and pray you can hire a miracle worker.
