I think tonight is the game Poles gets fired (in the offseason)

It’s on national TV, division opponent, offensive line has like two starters on it, and the Vikings are going to take advantage, it’s gonna get ugly.

I completely agree.

This is a game where I wouldn’t even mind if Caleb threw 5 interceptions. It’s about survival more than his development at this point. That ball needs to thrown in under 2.5 seconds. Whether to a receiver, out of bounds, or buried in the ground.

That I don't agree - I don't think Caleb getting destroyed is good for Caleb...even if it means a quick exodus for Poles.

I wasn’t hoping for that either. Only that with the lack of front line protection, Caleb’ well being depends on quickly releasing the football. And if those quick throws lead to interceptions, so be it.

I imagine we will know early how the line holds up. BIG assignment from Kiran today filling in for Braxton.

Caleb is going to get killed out there.  Poles is a freaking joke.

I mean, everyone could have seen this coming. This is not an NFL line, 72 should not be starting under any circumstance. But here we are.

Caleb has absolutely no touch on his passes. Good news is no way do they hire Thomas Brown.

Aikman has been rightfully critical of Williams. Usually we get the 3rd string announcers who hold back, but this game has really shown how far off he is. Caleb looks terrible. If he doesn’t drastically improve next season, we may need to have some uncomfortable questions about his future.

We never know whose turn it is, but Williams, Amegadije, and Kramer have stepped up to do their part today.

He gets into stretches where he seemingly overthrows everything. I don't think this ever happened in college.

Zero blame on Williams as this s%*# show is an absolute joke,  Not a single non player in that organization has any credability.

Caleb deserves some blame.  He had some bad O lines at USC and still wasn’t missing receivers by 10 yards, or just not recognizing open receivers directly in front of him.

Yeah the overthrows are just weird at this point. It's like he has the yips.

Caleb cannot even see Odunze wide open right in front him!?

He is not in a good space. Feeling pressure and just not playing with confidence. He should be okay and he had plenty of good this season but he kind of just needs to play free - but they also have to make his reads easier and faster and more multi dimensional.

I am resetting entire org - let’s see if Warren can be different than Ted Phillips at hiring.

Embarrassing.

Regarding Poles, the Sun-Times has a story tonight that talks about three possible outcomes:

1. He gets fired

2. Warren gives him a contract extension since he has made improvement in the roster overall and has major cap flexibility

3. Poles resigns himself.

Warren should be gone too.  He’s part of the problem.
