I felt like I was watching  the Houston and Detroit Thanksgiving game all in one.

The offense had no real answer to all the blitzes. Then they cobble together a decent drive to at least tie the game and Brown mismanages the time completely.

YOU STILL HAVE 2 TIMEOUTS USE ONE. Geeze come on

EDIT: USE IT WHILE THE CLOCK IS GOING NOT WHEN IT'S STOPPED.

What the f***, isn't this like head coaching 101?

As bad as Eberflus was all season, Brown clearly sucks at calling 2 minute drills and time management. They wasted a full play clock inside of 2 minutes and then let the play clock run another 20 seconds before calling timeout. They wasted a good minute of the last 2 that totally took away play calling options in that last set of downs. Eberflus deserved to be fired, but Brown had a nice assist in that.

Does Williams deserve more blame for holding onto the ball too long, or is he out of sync, playing behind a pathetic line and playing in a crap offense that reminds me of Nagy’s?

Caleb has actually gotten worse at getting rid of the ball quickly as the season has gone on. The inaccuracy on deep throws has been really disappointing. All his other struggles are pretty normal for a rookie in a badly coached offense. He really does need a reset and the Bears really need to hire an offensive head coach to get him in the right space. There's definitely times where he plays hero ball and doesn't get rid of the ball when he should, but there's also plays where he just has no chance because there's no actual checkdown for him to go to.

This offensive line was malpractice

It was, but Williams also looked clueless. Are we creating this screen heavy, quick slant heavy, avoiding throws over 10 yards heavy, type of offense because we don’t trust the OL, Williams, or some combination of both?

I also don’t think receivers running 10-20 yards down the field always makes sense when he’s running for his life a lot of the time too. I can see some times where he’s holding the ball too long, but I don’t think that’s the main issue.

The screens remind me of Nagy’s offense or John Shoop’s. lol

Poles has to go.  He has missed so many times on high draft picks.  Too many projects.  Too many guys on the OL t hat remind him of Poles as a player.

His biggest fireable offense was neglecting the offensive line basically for three years. Compounding the dereliction of duty was then drafting Williams behind those sacks of s%*#.

Credit to Prime Video for not cutting the audio during the postgame recap where you could hear Bear fans chanting in unison "Sell the Team," Charissa Thompson even commented on it.

And credit those Bear fans for staying and making their feelings known.

McCaskey family ownership in full effect. 🤡

FWIW, on the last play of the game, the Seahawks sent the entire right side of their defense and the Bears had no underneath route to throw to. Yes they needed 10 yards, but had they had Allen run a shallow cross or a drag route he easily gets 10 yards because there was absolutely nobody defending it. Seeing the Seahawks have 8 guys on the LOS and no check down option seems like a huge oversight.

When you design a play there has to be a reasonable hot read to account for a situation like that. Instead the Bears ran Moore on a deep cross, Allen on a sit down route in the middle of the field and Odunze on what I think was a deep dig. Allen has to recognize that when half of the field is not being defended he needs to convert his sit route into a crosser. The receivers really haven't helped Caleb at all this year.

And Caleb missing easy passes in the middle of the field. Ridiculous. Every QB in the league can make that throw

I disagree, every qb in the nfl running for their life on literally every snap would be affected in their accuracy

If he does get fired it will be interesting to see how Warren walks back his promise that Poles will be the GM going forward

Given it’s the right and obvious call to make, my hope is it wouldn’t be a very difficult thing to explain.

They’re going to end the season on an 11 game losing streak lol. Poles also has a 14 game losing streak to his name as well, the two longest in Bears history. And this one came after he said “It’s time to win.”

There isn’t a single coach that should be back next year. If it’s a totally new staff, there should be a new GM running the show. Easiest decision ever, but it’s the Bears, so they’ll find a way to get it wrong. They’re incredibly good at it

They basically rushed 3 on this play, not even 4..and they still don’t have a chance on this play. It’s really incredible

Larry Borom had to pick one guy to block and chose neither

The one stat that makes me wonder what Caleb's coaching looks like... He had that streak of 354 passes thrown without an interception.  It really makes me wonder if he is coached to intentionally throw more non-competitive passes than he needs to, so yes the streak looks good, but that is mostly because he isn't trying to complete a lot of balls.

Yep. I’ve been wanting the streak to end for a few games now with the hopes that it would allow him to stop being so conservative. I don’t that kind of play is best for his development. Especially in all these meaningless games where they could have been working on more downfield plays, which he clearly needs to work on.
