Biggest myth in baseball. 

People still believe in the traditions of small market habitual losing organizations that it will eventually work.  History is ignored. Sure you can bring up a team or two where it worked.   It's almost a mental illness among fans and media.

The last trade deadline revealed organizations are more stingy giving up their real prospects.
