Wait, so you guys seriously dislike this? This is like the singular thing they’ve done right this year. They’re mocking the team and being funny.

I think it's awesome.

With this org, it's 100% believable.

Know a buddy that interviewed for their social media manager position a few years ago.  He said salary range was $28k-$32k and many of the employees in the department were in fact interns. Glassdoor says current league average is $60k.

Anyone saying this is "unprofessional" doesn't know how social media marketing works.

This style is super common and gets a much larger reaction/audience. (Which is the total point of social media)

If anything you should be happy it's bringing more attention to how shitty this franchise is

To prove that Jerry can hold people accountable, there will be a presser tomorrow where the social media manager is fired.

To each their own. If you like these tweets, enjoy them. I think they’re lame.

Is this a gimmick?  I’m not sure at this point.

It’s actually a pretty decent strategy from a marketing perspective.  They’re getting far more positive fan engagement with this tactic instead of the sanitized bullshit posts.  Go back read the comments from earlier in the season.  Their “normal” posts were purely infuriating about 90% of the fan base.  They were getting ratio’d on almost everything.  Honestly the recent “gimmick” is probably the most effective thing the franchise has done all season in either business or baseball operations.  Which…is why I’m sure it will cease once Jerry hears about what’s happening on on Tweeter.

LOL. This is the “Popular Now” thread on this site.

We just lost 120 fucking games!

They photoshopped the Dan Ryan into the meme.

Social media manager is the most elite person in the org.

You don't think this is unprofessional?

The job of the White Sox social media shouldn't be to make the team an even bigger joke than they already are.  They should post the score or shut up.

Ok Boomer.  Surprised you know what Tweeter is.  You should download TikTok.  It’ll blow your mind.  Probably not available on your Nokia flip phone but have your grandkids show you.
