Doesn’t Lucas Oil host March madness events through Final Four? im not trying to argue that stadiums are not boondoggles, they certainly are, but a lot of these stadiums are hosting concert tours year round as well as tennis/soccer/basketball/pro wrestling events, even your cardinals stadium hosts a monster truck rally next week. they can make money on those stadiums and a lot of them do, it’s not a myth B10 football and basketball championships...women's and men's too. MiddleCoastBias Posted September 25 Share Posted September 25 I was out in Oakland two weeks ago to catch a Friday night game against Detroit. I walked in expecting the worst stadium experience and to have a laugh, but man - those fans were having a blast. I left thinking about how these fans have nothing left to cheer for or show up for, and they're still out there having an awesome time.
