And the irony there is our biggest strength as an org is supposed to be Katz and Bannister.

Great list of random and like none of it fits with topic at hand. 1

He doesn't seem to be a good lefty hitter anymore.

It's just extending your list into last season when we seemingly had three GM's making decisions simultaneously. For me, that's the real dividing line when you look at talent like Quero entering and leaving the team. Does each individual transaction increase or decrease the talent level of the organization. We may or may not have proven anything with a handful of washed up vets in their 30s versus mostly younger pitchers in their prime like Cease departing and coming fairly close to Top 5 Cy Young again if he wins his final start this week. Even Fedde doesn't have a huge amount of mileage on his arm comparatively. Edited September 25 by caulfield12

kitekrazy
Have to wonder the TA, ELoy, Moncada, the type of injuries they've had that being good at hitting a baseball no longer possible. Then you have to wonder if the approach to hitting, drafting, and development are not consistent in the organization other than consistently bad. Watching the better teams you see a lot more patience at the plate. You can have slow guys like Vaugh and Sheets in your lineup unless they are contently hitting 30 homeruns. I was starting to wonder that for Timmy for sure, but maybe Eloy too. A lot of lower body injuries for guys who that is vital too. Maybe they add up over time? greg775
On the pitching front ... Kopech has been amazing for the LA Dodgers. Just another laughable situation involving the Sox. He was a joke for Chicago. Way too inconsistent.
