Rocky
I am resigned to the fact that we are stuck with Sizemore. McCullough would make too much sense, so we can forget about it.

Hawk's one year as GM of the White Sox changed the careers of Tony La Russia, Dave Dombrowski and Bobby Bonilla. That is some crazy butterfly effect. I don;t think it's going to be Schumaker. I think he goes to a team that's closer to winning.

Maybe but I think Sizemore has earned strong consideration. He's made some dumb decisions which should be expected from a first time manager but the players play hard for him because they respect him and that seems to be more than half the battle these days. If he is the guy they need to hire a strong bench coach to help him with in game decision making.

Maybe there was a silent "unless he does exactly what we say".

At least he stays awake for the games.

He was a better player then all of them so they should at least respect him.
Boopa1219
Sizemore is still under contract for next season. If he’s not in the dugout as a coach, he’ll probably be in the front office. He’s someone the Sox should keep around based on how he got the team to play hard during the second half.

No doubt. I just think he's going to get a better offer from a team like the Reds, Mariners or maybe the Cardinals or Nats if they make a managerial change.
