The Sox should be looking for their version of Brandon Hyde. Edited September 26 by Boopa1219

Texsox
We don't have patience for a grow with the team. If the next guy lasts two years he's doing well.

Harold's Leg Lift
They have over 20 managerial candidates lined up to be interviewed so I'm sure there's more than a few who are on that list. I would love to see Sal Fasano get an interview. One of the nicest and smartest baseball guys I've ever talked to.

The managerial change for the 2024 Cubs expectations didn't work
Harold's Leg Lift
Bob thinks Carlos Beltran is a good fit for the Sox. I think there a better fit out there, Bob and I hope they find him.

He's 53 years old so a few years as manager and enjoy his retirement.
TheFutureIsNear
Rodney Linares is a name that fits somewhere in between up-and-comer and coaching staff lifer that I like. Son of a former player and coach that started out with the Astro’s as an instructor at the age of 21. Has been with 2 stellar organizations in the Astros and Rays in a variety of ways from Minor league Manager, 3rd base coach, and bench coach. Also managed the DR in the WBC. Quin
Let me get this straight. Back in the day, JR's supposed reservation against Hinch sas the trashcan scandal. Now the architect of the whole thing is a candidate? 2

It would be so Sox that hire the guy who was making $15/hour just last year.
Falstaff
If Getz stays in the role of GM, I want him to make the selection without Tony & Jerry butting in. Buck Showalter or Terry Francona are older and have health issues but if they could come in and be a bridge to a guy like Grady Sizemore or Santos/Leyland I would be onboard. Grady has a lot of potential he just needs experience.

However, it shows Grady has a love of the game that I admire.

Rick worked through the rebuild and got the boys ready for the playoffs so he should have been allowed to finish the job. TLR wouldn’t manage a rebuilding team. flavum
I’d like Don Mattingly around Colson Montgomery, but who knows what they’re looking for. Probably going to suck no matter what.
GreenSox
I like Sizemore, but no. But we could do worse. Mattingly is a little to retreadish for my tastes. I like the Dodgers guy.
