flavum
Dbacks 88-72; Braves 87-71; Mets 87-71 Two of three get in. Braves won the season series vs both. Mets beat the Dbacks in the season series. Braves/Mets doubleheader on Monday, if needed.
flavum
Braves 88-71; Mets 87-72; Dbacks 88-73 Braves clinch a spot with a win or Dbacks loss on Sunday. If the Braves and Mets win Sunday, and the Dbacks lose, Braves and Mets get in and don’t play Monday. Edited September 29 by flavum
kitekrazy
LOL I watched the D'Backs tonight. Their pen can be so White Sox. That's probably why they'll stay home. Most pens were bad this year. All 162 games are important to avoid these scenarios. I guess it's good for baseball it ends like this. Bad if you are a wild card team if you have to play Monday. chw42
If the double header is split tomorrow, Arizona is out. If either team sweeps the DH, Arizona is in. Edited September 29 by chw42
fathom
I have a hard time seeing a team sweep tomorrow. Win the first and rest everyone.

If they don't make it, their collapse, while not as bad as the Twins, will look actually worse from a playoff odds perspective. They had a 92% chance to make it a week ago. flavum
Yeah, I don’t feel bad for Arizona. I’m hoping both 5 and 6 seeds go fast this week. MLB needs the powerhouse teams to battle it out.
flavum
Really hope the Mets win Game 1 so the Braves have to use Sale. Want the Braves gone some time this week.
Harry Chappas
Works our great for Padres and Brewers. Brewers get the winner of game 2 I believe and they will have to use all of their bullets today. I really want the Brewers to win asi want to go see a game on the weekend up there. I may go Wednesday.
chw42
Braves blew a 3 run lead in the 8th. Now they have to start Sale game 2. Edited September 30 by chw42
chw42
This is a crazy game. Braves took the lead back and then Lindor homers in the 9th to put the Mets up. Edited September 30 by chw42

chw42
Braves are really flirting with losing this game. They only scored 1 off a guy with a 8.5 ERA.
