It's December. About time for some major deals before the holidays. It will be nice to have some actual transactions to discuss.

We already know it will mostly be a losing fate.  Getz won’t be signing anyone of note.

Can you imagine the atmosphere in the Sox organization right now? When there's a mandate to not increase payroll and the worst 40 man roster in league history, it must be constant negativity every day. We do have a new manager so he's got to at least convince the players they have a chance if they play hard every day. I'd assume the manager is upbeat and has a personality.

I imagine the negativity is counter balanced by a nice paycheck every two weeks and knowing that as long as JR is alive those checks will keep coming.
