What's funny is I do think the most undervalued ability by scouts and analysts alike - the ability where we've seen superstars come from borderline prospects - is bat to ball skills BUT only if they can grow into a little more power/authority. Jose Ramirez the easiest example. Mookie, Altuve and Pedroia another example although Mookie younger. A lot of time spent off top 100 lists despite good production. Jose just changed his approach and unlocked it, this guy not sure how much more strength he can pack on before he loses speed and becomes unplayable at 2B. I remember hearing that the White Sox would have taken Teel instead of Gonzalez but what am I missing? They were beaten out by one spot. Possibly another OFer if Robert/Benintendi does go. Seem to be set for what you want to see in the infield. Do need a veteran catcher since I assume neither prospects start with the team. The reason they're undervalued is because the skill set produces a lot of situations where the set doesn't play up at all. That said, it's a good skill to gamble on for the same reason.
