Those who voted for the Sox on the underrated and best at acquiring prospects must not be frequenting SoxTalk.

Loved Orioles for prospect hugging...Dodgers Guardians and Padres with accolades, most wanted to keep Red Sox as best system overall even after Keel/Montgomery trade.

Hahn will go to his grave repeating the mantra "an unprecedented, franchise-altering two consecutive playoff appearances..."

LOL...one of which came in a 60-game season and found the team with only two starting pitchers for a three game opening round series.

we're 4th after trading everyone. any other team could do the same. the trick is to draft and develope good players.

that way you don't go 41-121. my january cynicism is starting to boil up to the top.

💯 nailed it.

For so many years, the Braves, Dodgers,  Ray's, Astros have claimed a top 10 farm while continously winning at the Big League level.

The Sox are the Pirates.

Orioles not even a top 9 system?? I was assured by those Orioles poster last winter that they would maintain a top system for years under the tutelage of Elias even after they were no longer drafting in the top 5 every year.

You do know you don't have to hold on to hurt feelings for years just because someone disagreed with you on the internet,  right?

Other than Mayo, Basallo, Bradfield...who do they have left?

I’m not hurt at all that the Orioles are going the way of the Sox most recent rebuild after interacting with those trolls last winter.

Well, the Rays have the farm system but no budget and no stadium (good luck with FA's), Toronto has ONE last go at it with Guerrero and Bichette this year...I still think it's way too early to write off the Orioles being a perennial contender simply because they have Sugano and Charlie Morton now instead of spending over $200 million on Corbin Burnes.

O'Neill and Sanchez are winning/playoff-experienced players as well.

It was never going to make sense to give Santander a MASSIVE contract based on one Brady Anderson-like season when they have so many cheaper/younger players to replace him.

The As are playing 2 seasons in an outdoor minor league park where last year July had 5 days over 110 degrees F. They signed several good free agent contracts this offseason.

Well, you've got California (not sure that's a positive with all the fires and complaints about taxes) and a AAA facility.

Tampa Bay is going to be using the Yankees' High A facility, with a capacity of something like 12,500 (cue the jokes about better attendance).
