SnB
What a horrible call by Jauron, you try the FG, you have a better chance with that than a pass w/ 8 seconds left

SnB
well, at least it wasn't some BS win that will save Jauron's job. And the bears are showing some respectability
BrandoFan
watchig my first (and last) Bears game of the season. Now I know why they are 3-7. Edinger? Go away. Supposedly blew the one against the Lions last week, did he? He certainly lost this one with an ugly missed FG, a terrible kick out of bounds, and it's his fault Bears elected to throw with 8 second left- he has chicken legs and coaching staff had no choice. Chandler should be benched, was bloody awful, especially on 3rd downs and short. Bring on Grossman, season was over before it began. Was it Dez White who fought to stay in bounds for 2 extra yards with no time-outs and Beras close to FG range instead of making 2 easy steps to his left and saving at least 10 seconds? What a f***ing MORON!!! Should be released just for that play, which unfortunately won't show up in stats at season's end. Other than Marty Booker, Bears wide-outs have no vision, take terrible routs and have hands of stone. Add to it bad offensive line and a deeply mediocre QB? No wonder the passing game blows. And what about back-to-back penalties on Rams' last drive? Wow, talk about idiot rookies cracking under pressure.
Gene Honda Civic
What does everyone think of the rumors that Shoop is no longer the real OC... Ever since he got sent up to the booth.... I've heard that Juaron sent him up there to "get a different perespective" (read fans perspective) of the game. The play calling has been slighly better since he's been up there. Although that could be attributed to having chandler in the backfield.

Chandler should be benched, was bloody awful, especially on 3rd downs and short. Bring on Grossman, season was over before it began. Edinger did not lose this game... That kick out of bounds cost the bears nothing... the resulting drive was stopped by an azumah interception. Something IS wrong with Edingers Mechanics. I was able to see it in the first two extra-point attempts. Because of that I knew he would have pushed it left on that field goal before half. Dez White IS an IDIOT and shuold be cut. But I've never wanted that guy around. That one play just solidified my opinion. Edinger doesn't have enough leg for a 57 yarder. sending him out there for that last kick would have been a sure loss. A quick 7-yard out for the first down, to anyone but Dez-I'm-gonna-pad-my-stats-with-2-extra-yards-instead-of-stepping-out-of-bounds-and-saving-time-White. As for benching Chandler, I agree that he's not a great QB. Kordel has shown that he's not an option. But you have to factor in the offensive line. They give the QB, whoever it is little to no protection. The only reason Chandler hasn't been sacked that much is quick descision making. Kordel couldn't do it. Chandler's OK at it. I hate to say it, but if this team had the quick trigger of say a Jim Miller, Trent Dilfer-type, they'd be at least 5-5. Factor that with the fact that Juaron is trying to save his job. Grossman, who I think is probably the best Qb option the bears have, doesn't have the years of experience reading defenses, and hitting the HOT READS and Checkdown receivers. If Juaron put the kid in there now, it would almost certainly be a loss, plus he runs the risk of getting killed. Juaron will play grossman when he has finally conceded that he no longer has a job here. I don't see that happening until at least week 14.... So get used to Chandler, but either way get used to losing this IS BEARS FOOTBALL.

Soxfest
I hope they lose rest of games, Jauron and CO are 1 game closer to being fired, cheap wins at end of year do not mean anything to me. BYE SHOOP
CaliSoxFan
I am just happy that I can't watch them this year. I love bears, but the way the season has gone (from reading sports online) I would have broken at least three televisions. Hell, the last two weeks I would have pulled out my hair out of my head. Oh wait, my head is shaved.
DonkeyKongerko
Chandler is not the future. I think it's time to call it a year and play Rex Grossman.
Scwible
Edinger does not have the leg for the 57 yarder. If it was a few closer like 50-54 i'd say go for it but 57 would be pushing it for him. Something has to be wrong with him becasue he is usually automatic and he's prolly trying to compinsate for something. Though i believe that the coaching staff will be gone, that'll be the last jod to deside because of the fact that Jerry Angelo's job has to be re-evaluated too. I say bring in a guy like Jimmy Johnson. Yes, that would be unlike the bears but they need a kick in the ass and he'd do it. As for Dez White, i really don't like all the oppurtunities he's had and the ones David Terrell has not gotten this year. He's gonna be gone after this year though hopefully because they haven't really had any contract negotiations with him and we just drafted so many wide receivers. Just my two cents. SnB
Edinger was downright amazing for the past couple years minus these past 2 weeks, you let him redeem himself by trying to kick the 57 yarder, I'm sure his career long is longer. His career long is 54 yards. There are very few kickers who have kicked field goals longer than 57 yards. Don't forget the record is only 63. AssHatSoxFan
he said that he needed the ball at the 35 to have a good chance so dont blame jauron for that but dez white is still a moron even if he had broken a tackle to get more yards
doubleM23
Dez White needs to be benched for at least a game for being a total dips***... When do they start telling you to get your ass out of bounds late in the game and you need to savor seconds? :fyou Idiot.

He was quoted and never once said Dez didnt' do the right thing. He simply said if he broke the tackle then people would of been all happy. What an idiot Jauron is. Dez also said he wouldn't of been able to get out..thats bs. I could of been in crutches and got out of bounds
DBAHO
Well here's to Nick Saban?(I think that's his name) from LSU coaching da Bears in 2004 in Angelo gets his way. Then again, I wouldn't be suprised if he got canned as well.

From a couple of bad officials calls, to Edinger wimping out of a field goal attempt, to Dez White being completely oblivious to the game around him, to the defense letting yet another game winning 4th quarter drive happen against them, there was plenty of blame to go around. Marty Booker's 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty anyone? Noone seems to be talking about it, but played as big a role at giving Rams a chance to comeback as anything Bears did in 4th Q. YASNY
As I saw that Dez White play unfold, I didn't think he would make it out of bounds. I was shocked when he didn't try, but he might have thought the same thing as me. One broken tackle and 5 extra yards would have put them in FG range. I wouldn't think someone would "stat pad" in that situation. By the way, I want to mention that I am not a big fan of Dez White. But that is the way I saw the play.
