Thank you!  I never knew about that trick.  Looks quite a bit better if you subtract his last two awful seasons, but still not “star” level.

Tim Anderson was a very big plus SS at his peak.  He was a multiple time all-star who added plus defense, and plus base running, peaking out with multiple 4 WAR/fWAR seasons.  Don't get me wrong, his legs absolutely gave out on him, but at his peak he was an all-star level SS, in in a league with a lot of really good SSs.

I am once again reminding people that Hanser Alberto's inability to field a ball led to Tim suffering a leg injury that the Sox rushed him back from, because they only had a winning record with him in the lineup.

Of course, he relied heavily on his legs. Throw in the team drama (which he was a part of) and it was a recipe for disaster.

This reminds me of that time, probably in 2023, when Anderson was on first base and Abreu was playing first for Astros, and Timmy allegedly said I hate this f.....g place.

What a dummy TA is then. Chicago's a good town to be a sports hero. He stopped producing. He probably should write a book and name names. I take it he must have had a tough few years for sure.
