Robert projected to have 25/25 season

Chourio is one of only 10 players projected for at least 25 homers and 25 steals this season. The others: Ohtani, Witt, Ramírez, Rodríguez, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Luis Robert Jr., Ronald Acuña Jr., Elly De La Cruz and Corbin Carroll. That's a star-studded group to be a part of.

Shouldn't there be a "greatest shape of his life" puff piece coming from Merkin...or is that the kiss of death jinx to tear something else when he gets too muscular/bulked up?

What I would like to see is a better attitude. The team still may lose 100 games, and I don't want to see Robert use that as an excuse to not put out an effort. That is not even in his best interest.

I don't think Robert knows how to have a "good attitude". No one ever taught him good habits in the minors or in his first few years in the majors, he wasn't coached and no one wanted to mess with that because when he was healthy it worked. He thinks having a good attitude is being in good shape then allowed to do his own thing because he's so physically dominant.

Robert should look at the career of Ernie Banks who is turning in his grave looking at Robert who is throwing his career away. Banks in his first 13 years with the Flubs played on losing teams but maintained a great attitude while winning 2 MVP awards.

Interesting the Sox kept Robert. Somebody decided we better have one player people might pay to see. Not for attendance mind you, just to make sure the team had one good player. If Robert was/is traded the Sox have not one player you would pay to see. That's kind of scary. You wouldn't pay to see any of those pitchers. You certainly don't pay to see Vaughn and the everyday lineup guys.

Yes I started a thread over a year ago...besides Robert/Burger, who would fans actually pay to watch hit???

Still haven't really answered that question 100%.

Gor now, it's only promotional nights and certain opponents that are the main attractions.

No, this isn't part of the thought process on keeping him at all.
