His bat fell off last year, but he’s far more likely to be a productive major leaguer than Jankowski or Jones. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t have signed Taylor given all the other veteran OFs, but these guys aren’t really that interchangeable. He’s in Charlotte rotation. I’m curious to see what they do. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them DFA or release Carela at this point. They can’t put him on 60-day since they sent him down.
