Teel is great back there.

Law said he wouldn't be surprised if he's starting this year with the big club.

13. Kyle Teel, C, Chicago White Sox (Top 100 Rank: 37)
This is less an argument that Teel is ready to make an impact in the majors in 2025 and more an argument that he is the best catcher in the White Sox organization in terms of his ability to make an impact in the majors in 2025, and those are not the same thing. The ostensible incumbent, Korey Lee, has a career WAR of -1.1. His erstwhile backup, Matt Thaiss, didn’t catch a game for five years before the Angels put him back there in 2022; he has just over 1,000 big-league innings behind the dish, with an 18.4 percent caught-stealing rate and negative framing numbers, although he blocks well. Also, he can’t hit.

I’m just saying I wouldn’t mind being Teel right now because the guys in his way are not really in his way. Teel makes a lot of contact, receives and blocks well, runs really well for a catcher and has decent pop against righties. I’d love to see the White Sox give him the primary job, but perhaps in a loose platoon with Lee, more to keep Teel away from the best lefties rather than to utilize Lee’s bat, since Lee hasn’t hit lefties above Double A.

What's shocking is the amount of people who think this team is going to win over 50 games.

I’m firmly in the “break the record again” camp. Our guy Jerry doesn’t deserve a god damned thing.

Once the teams sold, I’ll start rooting for them to win again.

At least this year there are actual exciting young players about to be here that we can look forward to. That's the best thing about it.

Otherwise yeah, lose 120+ again. Whatever gets JR out of here faster im all for.

A lot of guys today showed promising velocity for their first outing of spring. Smith was obviously having issue with the release point on the fastball but he was 96-98 on a lot of fastballs. Nastirini and Booser both were up a few miles on their avg fastball velocity from last year.

Mason Adams threw 8 pitches, all strikes and had two 3 pitch strikeouts.

Every time I watch Colon play SS I immediately think he doesn't belong there.

DOH…

“Austin Hays went 3-for-3 with two homers and six RBI on Monday, leading the Reds to a blowout victory over the Dodgers in Cactus League action.

Hays continues to make a strong impression early on in Reds camp with his two-homer explosion only adding further fuel to the bounce-back campaign fire. He’ll have plenty of RBI opportunities with Elly De La Cruz and Matt McLain on the bases and a return to 15-20 homers isn’t out of the question at hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park.
