Allow me first to wish a Happy #89 to the Best Owner In Baseball by far. Not even close

Further, for CHSN and Xfinity to finalize a deal so I know which channel to block. I plan to recreate my own games in studio from the Joe Cullinane School of Broadcasting. John Schriffen isn't qualified to mc a dog show for rescue amputees.

CHSN - Make A Deal NOW

We have been Comcast/Xfinity customers for 13+ years. One of the reasons we have continued with cable services is because we love watching sports. We are avid Chicago Blackhawks fans living in Indiana. Not being able to watch the Hawks this year is causing us to want to discontinue cable services! We are already unhappy with the price increase we've experienced in the last several months and partnered with the difficulty in speaking to a live person willing to help us with that cost, this could be the final straw for us to finally cut the cord!

Do your customers a solid and make a deal for CHSN! That alone would be more valuable than the joke that is Xfinity Rewards!!

EDIT: Just got the email that I'll see a bill credit of $3.75 for losing NBC Sports! Keep your $3.75 a month and GIVE US CHSN!

Wonder how many e-mails they're getting begging and pleading to watch the White Sox, lol...?   Probably a total number less than 100.

You have won. Congratulations.

Arrive at Gate 4 three hours prior to first pitch during a home game of your choice. Ask any member of the security staff for Rita.

Once Rita arrives, be sure to recite the Gettysburg Address and then promptly make loud noises as if you are a stallion.

Get down on all fours and pat your back before screaming aloud, “Ride me to yer thee destiny me Lady!”

You will then instantly transform into an alarm clock which will be placed in the home players club house.

From there, you’ll have a front row seat to enjoy a very unique vantage point for a game. One which no other fan has ever experienced.

Congratulations, once more.

Should you have any recommendations for modifications to your prize, feel free to submit a formal request to Max the Dog.

Ishbia, Colson hopefully making Keith Law look like a hack. I’m excited to see how the other Montgomery plays. Hope some of the young pitching takes the next step, and hope for minimal injuries. If players are going to be hurt, hopefully it’s not the young guys who need to play to get better.

The only party free to provide ample citations of excitement is one user named Caulfield. After two decades of illogical player connections, this one of a kind anomaly gets a free ride.

Casey Saucke. 2024 4th rounder, has always hit. Didn't look overmatched in his 99 PAs in high-A. He was 2 years younger than the competition at that point.

The ensuing board arguments that will ensue when CLEVINGER makes the team and is named closer...

Clevinger has minimal bullpen experience; all told, he has only pitched in relief 14 times in his career, and it’s been several seasons since he’s done anything but start. nearly all of his relief appearances – 13 of the 14 – came during his first two years in the big leagues, in 2016 and 2017 with Cleveland.

It is possible that the veteran right-hander can adjust to a different role and prove to be at least a serviceable reliever, but whether or not Clevinger can handle closing duties is a much bigger question. He has a pretty wide pitch mix, which would likely have to be narrowed in order to have success in the bullpen. Throughout his career, Clevinger has used at least six different pitch types, though two of those – his sinker and curveball – he has used rather rarely in the past two seasons. During Clevinger’s successful 2023 season, batters struggled against his offspeed and breaking pitches, but of his primary repertoire, Clevinger’s cut fastball caused opposing hitters the most trouble, to the tune of a .250 batting average.

Even though Clevinger does not seem like an obvious candidate to pitch in relief for any team, the White Sox are in such a state of rebuilding that they can afford to take such chances. They lost 121 games in 2024 and aren’t projected to do a lot better this year, so giving high leverage innings to a guy like Clevinger is a risk they can afford to take.

I am excited to see a lot of guys who have barely played in the minors like Braden, Bonemer, Mogollon, Hagen Smith, Nick McClain. I want to see development in Zavala, Antonacci,, and Ronny Hernandez. I am excited to see the young guys try to hit in the majors like Colson, Baldwin, Quero, and Teel. It would be cool to see pitchers like Adams, Iriarte, and Burke grab starting jobs at some point. So a lot of individual player stuff.

I'm looking forward to watching some of the prospects that make the team out of spring training and those that end up not quite making it but are close.  If Ishbia does end up taking control of the Sox in the next few years, some of these guys are going to be ready to be paid.  We all know on a JR controlled team, none of these guys will be on the Sox if they become studs.

And I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing from a manager that is not Grifol.

Naturally the possibility of new ownership is exciting.
I’m pretty excited about Teel.
I’m fairly excited about Montgomery.
When you know we are looking at another 100+ losses in 2025 it’s hard to get excited about anything else, we have a ton of guys that have to prove themselves this year so a year from now if some of these guys pan out things will be more exciting going into 2026.

I, for one, am excited for this 0-4 start to spring training to continue and for the team to continue to get blown out by 8 plus runs.

Hell yes… we’re crushing it and seem to be setup to pick up where we left off!

Time to start putting cash down on the Sox to lose every game. 😆

I did for the second half of last year. Made a couple of bucks. Plan to do the same this year. Easy money.

You realize that Braden was playing in college a year ago...and never even played MiLB/shortseason in his draft year last year?

He's looking at a late 2026/early 2027 arrival.  And that's still pretty accelerated for a college draftee from a power program.

And almost all the scouting reports have him playing RF due to his arm strength.

Did we not learn any lesson rushing Andrew Vaughn and Madrigal to a lesser extent when they weren't ready or were out of position?

How come NBA doesn't care about "rushing" prospects? They play the 1 and done college guys on 2 way contracts their rookie seasons then if they aren't good in year two they quickly lose the 'top prospect' tag as they've proven they can't play. I see no reason guys 21 and 22 can't be regulars on MLB teams like in NBA and in NHL and soccer.
