And in typical Sox fashion the name of the game now is HR hitting. It's all any hitter tries to do and doesn't care if he K's as long as he tries to hit a HR. And here it's our main weakness. No pop in the bats. Hilarity.

Especially the way the home park plays in the summer.

But not exactly exciting either.

Leasure the best stuff of that group.

Cubs, for example, have scored six runs in the last two innings...tied 8-8 with Texas.  That's our entire spring offense.

Weird how you can keep such good track of the run differential but you can't add up the amount of runs the Sox have scored in all their games so far.  They're not scoring many but they had 9 in the first 3 games so short changing them seems rather pointless .

Is three runs per game going to lead to any wins without Fedde and Crochet and no discernible closer?

There's absolutely no reason to believe we can win 50 games. Even the rare games we do well we could blow it via closer, set up guy or absolutely no bats on certain nights. If Sox are as bad as last year I hope the word 'contraction' comes up in the national media at least.

So, because the Sox scored 3 runs in each of their first few games, that's the reason you get to just make up numbers?

Here, I'll make up a number. I'll call it "George". The Sox will have George number of wins this year. Lookit me!!! I'm Caulfield!!

Wow...the Sox offense has been amazing so far.

Hyperbole doesn't exit except in political forums, clearly.

For example..Zelensky has thanked a certain someone 29 previous times, but it's still not enough.  Still not grateful enough or demonstrated with sufficient obeisance or with a formal outfit on, so previous thank you's can't be counted

It's not the point. There are plenty of reasons that the Sox are going to be bad without making them even worse by lying about their run totals in ST. Just tell the truth , it's bad enough.
