Otoh the White Sox had the worst spring training record last year and now this year...pretty obvious there's at least SOME correlation there. How high it is...you'd have to analyst Spring Training vs. regular season records. I'm not concerned about the Sox' record, either. It's spring training. But if you think the Sox record is meaningful, then it's meaningful that the Badres have scored less runs than the Sox in more games. Pick. Expand I didn’t think ST records mattered but the Sox are trying to prove some correlation between sucking in ST and sucking in the regular season. Read my recent posts on this. So when the Sox 2025 regular season record looks as bad as their previous record, and the Padres do much better, I guess we will know the answer. But does it truly mean that ST records don’t matter or is it just that the Sox roster has been so historically bad the past two seasons that they are equally bad in both ST and the regular season? For the Sox, all of their players are scrubs, haha. So it kind of makes sense. When is Getz expected to field a competitive team in your opinion of a timeline?
