Expand I’m sure the bone spur was legit but my guess is that Thorpe’s later elbow soreness, cortisone shot, additional soreness, and removal from his start was all likely due to this pre-existing or new issue. Expand Thus seems to be most likely. All happened during the ramp up to getting ready for this season. Need to wonder about the condition of the elbow strength prior to spring training.
