You're going to end up playing Baldwin, Sosa or Meidroth there...or Maton, who's now primarily a 2B/OF. Rojas is a great 3B, a very good 2B and an average big league SS...maybe a touch over average. Fielder Jones
Honestly if we dont get him now we probably will have a second chance, maybe 1-2 months from now, to get a waiver claim in. b/c we are the 30th team. So right now only a trade can beat us to him. and because of his roster status i would bet some other team, if they trade cash for him, is going to just kind of hide him on the roster and eventually give him up for some reliever to be added or something, and the process just restarts again he should be with a team like us b/c he would actually play Edited March 31 by Fielder Jones

In theory, they'd have to release one of Venable's favorites from when he was the bench coach in Texas with Bochy. We can argue that he SHOULD get more playing time over all those guys, other than Robert, but that's neither here nor there.

Playing Benintendi in the outfield would probably lower his value as you are just showcasing his mediocre range and noodle arm. Besides, the only thing that matters is his contract and that’s why it isn’t happening. He’s our DH for 3 more years unless the Sox decide to DFA him and pay him. 2025: $16.5 million 2026: $16.5 million 2027: $14.5 million Edited March 31 by WhiteSox2023

Look at Ray Ray Run
I still think a ++ GM could get a haul for robert. Values are set by market factors. Cf is incredibly weak and thin. Robert gives a team a huge edge over those they are competing with. You should be able to sell his value and ceiling given how weak the position is and talented he is.
