When I play out I sometimes do a send-up medley of G/Em/C/D progression tunes ala Stand by Me/Shama Lama Dingdong/Working on the Chain Gang/Crocodile Cock/Girls Just Want to Have Fun/etc... For a couple years I have included a humorous monologue explaining that the medley is my attempt at proving the "Big Four Chord Theory" as an alternative to the Big bang Theory for the origin of the universe.
