Woof.  Surprising choices.

At least Getz appears willing to admit his mistakes.  Hahn would have held onto Fletcher for several more seasons (though I'd rather play Fletcher than the shitty vets they signed).

Good point.  Seems rather strange to sign three crappy vets and make your trades look even worse.  He’s crappy too, but would 2025 really be any different if Fletcher is playing RF?

I feel like we need the "they are the same picture" meme with Hahn and Getz.

Idk man, Chris Getz might end up with the worst winning percentage in history at the guaranteed rate we're going.

Getz's strategy for rebuilding is to keep playing older players in favor of guys under 30 that have control.

I can't see an argument for carrying Slater, Tauchman, Jankowski and Taylor over DeLoach, Fletcher and Colas.

The Janikowski add is hilarious. He had a .508 OPS in 200+ PA's for the Rangers last year. Fletcher is probably a better defensive RF'er than Janikowski, and while Janikowski is better in CF he's also getting old and defensive skills fall off quickly. Is he better than Robert if Robert is back? No.

Even Sam Hilliard at 31 would be better.

Bounced for Moniak.

This 29 year old is perfect for Sox...8 ks in 9 mlb at-bats with two teams but still zero hits.

Or could throw this now former Oriole into bullpen mix.

Rh.Contreras, 25, has been bouncing around the league for a long time. That’s due to some enticing numbers and his out-of-options status. Dating back to May of last year, he has gone from the Pirates to the Angels, Rangers, Reds, Orioles, Yankees and then Orioles again via small trades or waiver claims. He has a 4.72 ERA, 19.7% strikeout rate, 10.1% walk rate and 39.3% ground ball rate in his 234 2/3 career innings.
