They are also super aggressive on balls in the dirt. They look like a Rays affiliate more than the Sox. Would be a pain to play against.

Hard single on 0-2 for Bonemer 3 rbi so far for him. He’s probably a Top 100 guy pretty soon.

Don’t know if he’s done yet, but heck of a start for Oppor so far 5IP 2H 1R 1ER 1bb 8K. Lost some velocity on the fastball but then relied a lot on his slider. Overmatched A ball hitters.

Gelanie 4-4. I got to imagine he’s gonna be in Birmingham before long. Another R-R 1b, so a lot of pressure on the bat, but he can hit.

Jeffrey no bueno but bases loaded with no hits lol...11-2 but still no hits allowed.

 

BIRM lineup so few hitters to get excited about...Bergolla might be the best.

What's the concern re Elko?  Bad speed not at major league standards; a debilitating weakness with certain pitches?  Perhaps no room for him with Vaughn. .....

I hope during May, we see a good bit of churn.  It still makes more sense to have, say, Fletcher up, than to play Taylor.e.g.

Always funny to see a no hitter that isn't a shutout. Lots of offense kept it low pressure for the staff.

Congrats to the combined efforts of Vail (UDFA), Arias (IFA), Jeffrey (FA, LAD 2021 15th rounder), and Yabbour (MiLB Rule 5). 

Pretty cool to see a ragtag band of unheralded guys get it done. C Weston Eberly a Sox 16th rounder.

Interesting start by Schultz, 3bb 3 singles, 3 GIDP. The three singles averaged like 50 mph. Angels AA not good, but it looked like a side session for him. Like he has mostly been working on stuff.
