Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't one's INTERNAL qualities WAY more telling of who the person really is than the EXTERNAL qualities? Tells you something about how LOW the standards of such guys are! Almost makes one want to puke! I'd rather have a guy who has so much "inside" and is "average" in looks than an incredibly hot "hunk" (or, so, society has coined the term "hunk") who has absolutely nothing "up there." Ok, first of all this is a bunch of bulls***. Girls are just as superficial as guys are they just won't admit it. It is my experience that the vast majority of girls go after guys who are assholes just because they happen to be good looking or rich. There may be a minority of girls for who this isn't the case but for the most part women are just as superficial as men when it comes to judging the opposite sex. Ones internal qualities are what you base a relationship on. When it comes to oohing and ahhing, you don't need to do that. Plus for most guys at least and I think people in general, they have to see some type of physical attraction to them. After that its the internal stuff that decides whether it works out or not, but physical attraction is something important. On my own personal scale attraction and personality are both right there along with brains. But if I'm not at all attracted to a girl, it wouldn't matter how cool she was...I'd only consider her a friend. Call me shallow or whatever you want, but thats just me. Britney is the insecure one. If she was secure with herself and her musical ability, she wouldn't have needed to become the slut that she is today. From a business perspective, her being beautiful was a way to sell a lot more things and make her a lot more sucessful then she ever was and she's yet to show herself naked that I know of. Hell...if I could make a few million bucks for dancing on a stage topless and putting on some speedos or something scantilous for the ladies, I wouldn't have a problem with it. I'd call ya nuts, but I wouldn't have a problem with it. It also brings up beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think my fiance is the sexiest thing, but ask other women and chances are they wouldn't agree. But, this isn't what this thread is about. I just want to reiterate what I said several posts prior to this one, as long as she stops targeting pre-teens and teens as her audience, she can dress like a whore 'til the cows come home and I couldn't give a crap about it. Also, I wouldn't have the thoughts of the 1000 previous guys that Hilton has been with either. I'll be honest, I have to be attracted to a girl to go out with her and I like looking at gorgeous women. I completely agree..I always here crap from some of my friends that are girls (I won't get into the explanation on friends that are girls...cause when your a friend with a girl...a you want to be more then friends or B...your cool with them, but frankly aren't at all attracted to them). When I'm walking around some place...I'm not gonna go...oh wow check out her test grade...I'm gonna go damn, check her out. And girls do the same thing...they just don't tell ya. Well, so what? It's not like Britney is up for a Nobel prize or anything. Why should one not accept her because she is "externally hot?" We're talking about an entertainer here, not Mother Teresa. Nobody on this board, nor anyone who attends her concerts, buys her albums, et al. has really any insight as to her "inner beauty" and I don't think anybody cares. Her appeal to males is strictly sex appeal, and, since the dawn of time, men have found looking at sexy women to be very entertaining. Does she have any talent as a musician/songwriter? Doubtful, so what good would it do her to try to be something she's not? She apparently has some dancing ability, and she's hot. She doesn't seem like she'll be joining Mensa anytime soon, so what would you have her do? Sit at home at a desk job for fear that she would only be "respected" for her looks? Looking good and being sexy is really all she's "good at," and doesn't every career "guru" tell us to find a job doing something we like to do, and that we are good at? And as for guys "accepting" her solely on the basis of looks? Well, welcome to reality, it happens. Have you lost a boyfriend or husband to Britney lately? So why do you care why people accept her? Maybe you lost a guy because he dumped you for some plastic piece of ass? Well, then did you really want to be with him after all? Men's weak point will always be looks, and women's will always be money/power. Hot chicks always get more guys competing for their affections, and rich guys will always get first pick of the ladies. That's how I met my fiance. His add was funny and that is why I hit reply (which is part of an ongoing inside joke between us). Women tend to not be so overt about being pigs. Hell yes, we women will check a guy out that has nice pecs or a nice rear, but most women know how to do it without being obvious. My fiance is terribly obvious when checking out a chic (can't blame him for looking when the woman is letting her wares out to be seen by the world), but even he admits that I am a hell of a lot more discreet about checking a guy out. My issue is with what her target audience is or at least, used to be. If you are going to act like a harlot (none of us really knows whether she is one or not), target the male populous, not some impressionable pre-teens and teens.
