cwsox
How the hell would I of ever figured that out You had me stumped. not my job to make it easy! actually on the NTN game tonight Red Heat was a clue for something else and that made me remember it and work on it for our use - the last two nights, two sets of teams have combined to beat me at NTN trivial, ganging up on me, and over the course of two nights, 24 games, the results on the NTN games: final score, CWSOX 24, teams trying to beat me 0. Ho hum.

cwsox
Just wait till I take ya out, lol....it could happen...once. no one beats me in head to head trivia games - I don't do well on internet quizes, was always lucky to get 1 or 2 in Wilbur's mlb archana quizes - but make it head to head, me against a person or group, all in the same room - and I conquer all. if I could make money of this, I'd be rich. Instead, people just get pissed at me in bars. Damn asshole always wins. Why not let someone else win, the jerk. ] Hey, not my job to lose dude. Instead of whining, answer the questions right for a change. And then I kick ass.

And if it has anything to do with history or geography, the other person is done before the game starts
cwsox
I suck at geography. Maybe not suck, but not as strong as I wish. Last night I took the big game on an Explorer question. History is very strong for me. Took all time high score for an NTN science fiction game tonight. I figured outa straegy: if I had noi clue (and I had none of 13 of 15 questions) I selected 4 and as the clues were given, if 4 was eliminated, worked up the gameplayer to 3 or 2, the closest possible answer still in play. Started slow and romped to the finish to all time high score. Sometimes it is how to play more important than what we know.

Is there any site that has good trivia games where multiple people can play online?
JoshPR
What Arnold Schwarzenegger movie was filmed at Comiskey Park? Please note I am not saying much of the footage was used in the movie. In fact what was used was very subtle. But it is there. A hell of a lot more than what made the final cut was filmed at Comiskey. The ballpark chase scene just didn't make the directors cut - or anyone's cut. Bonus points: what team do we play in the footage shown in the movie? Extra bonus: on the game day of the filming, someone was playing at Comiskey who still plays for the Sox. And that is: _______________ In the Movie Red Heat they show footage of Comiskey. THey talk about Harold Baines anb Ozzie Guillen in the movie

cwsox
I love NTN, I play about once a week and hardly ever lose. Right now I am ranked 17th all time at the location I play at Unfortunately I am addicted to NTN, play it 5-7 days a week. (Of course a part of that is lunch every day; it is the evenings that I go in that are killer.) Good for the bar, not good for my wallet. But I have a goal I am working on and that will be done by the end of the year. Right now I am 3rd on our all time bar list and that is only because I played 6 years before I bothered to sign up, which I only did last February. I intend to claim my rightful position of 1st before the year is out. I am only about 80,000 away from that and I can make that easily. Have you played Tuesday night? Between 7 and 10 pm EST it is possibkle to earn 10,000 P+ points. For those wondering what NTN is, it is the bar trivia game. Is it played near you? press the link for site finder

But you are right, the middle of the week is the best time for points. Usually I play for an hour and a half or so, and end up coming home with about 3000 points. cwsox
If you are reaching the bonus level, I have it figured it should be 1,000 points each half hour. And that sounds like what I am sure of, that you reach the bonus point level every time.

They do have a tough one on Sat nights that sometimes I miss out on where they don't give you any clues to the answer, and just eliminate choices. cwsox
I am usually in the mid 11 to low 13,000 range, with the occasional game falling either side of that. I have had scores as low as in the 8,000s. My highest is 14,624. I wish I could do that more often! That game you mention, they do that periodically in the week. It can be tough. You got to try on Tuesday nights. They have all these special games (must be the lure to get you out on Tuesday) that are a lot of fun, 60s trivia and things like that, and different ways of scoring. Take the wife and play - those are some really fun games as opposed to the usual trivia.

Wow 14,600 is a killer score, the best I have been able to manage was a 13,700 and that was last year when they had the Beatles trviva Maybe I will try a Tuesday though. I could use the extra points. My most memorable game was against a guy named, believe it or not, Cubfan. I saw him playing and just HAD to log in as Soxfan. We went head to head, just the two of us. He was very good, which I knew because I had been watching him. However, it must have been my lucky day because I beat him by a few hundred points. We were both in the 13000's. I was trailing till the last question, but nailed an obscure Alice Cooper question for 1000 to pass and beat him. He was not a happy camper.
