Chisoxfn
From ESPN The Cavaliers suspended forward Ira Newble for one game Monday for a profanity-laced argument with coach Paul Silas and said Ricky Davis also will not be making the trip to New Orleans. The article doesn't mention why he isn't going. I'm assuming he had nothing to do with the argument. Now that BC has been fired, it appears that a trade is imminent. Paxon is going to be with the team on Tuesday and then will come back to Chicago to find a head coach candidate. My thoughts are that Paxon will try to hammer a deal tonight, so the players can be dressed tomorrow and then the new coach will know exactly what he has, which is definately something he'll have to sell to get someone like Doc Rivers or George Karl. WHarris1
I would love to see Ricky Davis here. I hope you are right about a deal getting done tonight. I love trades.
SuperSteve
...I love trades. If you love trades so much, why don't you marry them!?!

mac9001
If Rose dosen't dress tomorrow, than a trade is imminent, but if he plays i can almost guarente that no trade goes down for a while.
danman31
I don't think that Davis is getting dealt. It said disciplinary reasons on the bottom line on ESPN2. Ricky Davis probably is a bad guy, but I don't think they are going to trade him yet. Maybe at the deadline, but nothing imminent. It's possible they don't want a bad character around Lebron. mac9001
The Cavs have been trying to trade both Davis and Big Z, if a deal would go down between the Cavs and Bulls it would probably involve Toronto too.

They'd rather deal Davis instead instead of Miles which is sayin sumthin cos da way Darius has been shooting from the outside u'd think they mite part with him instead. Anewseason
I would love to see Ricky Davis here. I hope you are right about a deal getting done tonight. I love trades. Why would the bulls want or need Ricky davis? Don't we have enough SG/SF types who shoot at any opportunity and can't play defense?
southsider2k5
I just read on ESPN that the Cavs also suspended reserve forward Michael Stewart for the same number of games. Sounds like a fight in practice to me...
