YASNY
If the Indians are looking for a proven first baseman offering more offensive consistency than Travis Hafner and Ben Broussard - and they should be - the answer might be down south. Word is Atlanta Braves first baseman-outfielder (and past All-Star) Robert Fick, now a free agent, is interested in signing with the Indians. As a Brave last season, Fick hit .269 with 11 home runs and 80 runs batted in. And why, say sources, is Fick - a former Detroit Tiger - intrigued by the Indians? For one, Fick, 29, liked playing for current Indians bench coach Buddy Bell when Bell managed Detroit in 1998. Also, Fick has a good rapport with Indians hitting coach Eddie Murray. In 1999, Murray was Fick's manager in the postseason Arizona Fall League. From the Cleveland Plain Dealer
Loaiza21
I've read Minnesota wants Fick as well. I hate that guy.
Al Lopez Ghost (old)
There was also a rumor that KC was talking to him. Bet he wants out of the NL before he sees the scrubs again.

cwsox
The want players who hate the Sox Good because Fick is one of the few players that I really cannot stand in any way shape or form
JoshPR
Fick is a total ass. His mom probably hates him too. Read that KC resigned Brian Anderson, Curtis Leskanic and Joe Randa
