Chisoxfn
Damn...I must be a super mad talented killing machine then, considering all the violence i've watched on tv, mixed with the fact that I've played GTA and some other violent games. It all started with Contra...damn them for making me a killer :lol What a bunch of bs.
LowerCaseRepublican
Yeah and the violence and murdering in the Bible and other religious texts don't cause anybody to be violent. **cough Army of God cough** NOTE: The Army of God, for anybody that doesn't know, is a militant pro-life group that has taken responsibility for lots of clinic bombings where abortions are performed. NUKE_CLEVELAND
I've always said that parents are responsible for what their kids see and don't see. It makes me mad when parents raise rotten kids & try to wash their hands of it by blaming the entertainment industry. I grew up watching a lot of trash on TV & violent type movies & I don't go around killing people for the hell of it. I was raised properly. Maybe parents should take a little more responsibility for their kids & stop blaming the media for little johnny's antisocial behaivior. BrandoFan
People who write article's like this are IDIOTS. What makes you say that? I hope you can keep your response to one sentence or less. I don't know about "teaching to kill", but video games (along with movies, television, computers, cars, etc, etc) DO affect and transform child psyche in myriad subtle and not-so-subtle ways. Aggression ,attention deficit and apathy are just a few by-products of modern age. But who knows really.

Flash Tizzle
Not bad for an inbred honkey. HEY, thats racially insensitive and insulting to whites. According to the guidelines set aside by CW that should be deleted. But seriously, for many here that grew up playing violent games like Mortal Kombat it didn't influence our minds.....or make us believe that killing someone is justified. I made a sort of reference to this topic in the "manhunt" thread. It will always end up being some obese, oprah loving, PMS ridden lady that tries to blame society for their kids actions. And what better way then to go after the big three: movies, television, video games. They do have big pockets you know. Theres no need to reform our lifes because a few dumb ass kids decide shooting someone is cool........then they cover their own asses (and their parents) by blaming it on games like GTA III. BrandoFan
According to the guidelines set aside by CW that should be deleted I've never suffered the kind of gut-twisting indignity that comes with having one of my posts deleted. Up until today, that is. I might not survive two in one day.

I must not have been clear... brandofan has at no time said anything that was deletable, in the other thread or in this thread or anywhere ever - brandofan is a fine poster, never a problem someone else did say something that was just way over the line that was always established, and brandofan responded to it and that response accidentally got wiped out and it shouldn't have been and I apologise again to brandofan and hope that I have made it more clear no indignity brandofan, the problem was not yours and the mistake in cleaning up was mine
