greasywheels121
You have to go w/ the starting pitcher.....
WHarris1
A good fielding, speedy, .300 hitter. We haven't had one of those in a while.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
I dont have 15 million to give away on a quality starter so I will spend $4.99 on a bottle of extra strength Tylenol for those rough days in the dugout.

witesoxfan
I said relief pitcher. We learned this season that you can have rock solid starting pitching and still have a s***ty pen blow it. However, if we sign a couple decent starters to fill out the rotation and have a rock solid pen, we'll win more 2-1 games, and lose more 10-2 games where the starting staff got the s*** out of of them. The more you can shorten the game by, the better.
CWSOX45
I think it's obvious what we need, Colon or Millwood. The question is will the White Sox spend the money to get either of them? The sad part is I think I know what the answer will be....... CWSOX45
winninguglyin83
it's obvious we know what the Sox need. It's also obvious JR ain't willin to pay the going rate for it. KW will be shoppin from the bargain bin, trying to find the 2004 version of Esty.

cwsox
I always wonder when a bunch of males say they are looking for a "stud."
CubKilla
I'm bringing a case of beer for Ozzie to SoxFest. Should get him through the first 2 games this season.
C.Rector
KW will be shoppin from the bargain bin, trying to find the 2004 version of Esty. I didn't vote in the poll since a lump of coal was not an option. As for getting a 2004 version of Loaiza, what's wrong with that? Also, given the depth of pitching talent in our minor league system with such worthies as Adkins, Rauch, Cotts, Josh Stewart (health permitting) and others, I don't see why KW should even be pursuing the likes of Sidney Ponson in the first place. Texsox
If we could have kept the roster intact from last season I would have said a .300 in the 3 spot would have been nice, Thomas dropping to where he belongs in the order. Now I'm thinking an arm. I do know we do not need any more big, slow, clumsy, guys in the lineup. Basically we are trying to replace Colon and tred water. The Beast
How about a muzzle? LMFAO...I laughed for a half an hour on that one because I can see him with like a leash on, walking on hands and feet, greeting people at the skyboxes, and for White Sox charities they have a chance to beat Kenny... "You'll have to excuse him, he's an insane cracka mf.."-Jerry Reinsdorf... "It's time to take the dog for a walk" Jerry Manuel...
The Beast
s*** I realized this was on Ozzie...u have to go with the starting pitcher on that one, but seriously, off that, KW with a muzzle and them beating him...that would be hysterical... Pastime
If Ozzie talked to Santa, he would want a stud starting pitcher put in his Christmas stocking.
Chisoxfn
Has to be a stud starting pitcher. Nothing can single handedly change the complexity of a team than great pitching, and a stud pitcher makes everyone better.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
If Ozzie talked to Santa, he would want a stud starting pitcher put in his Christmas stocking. If Ozzie is thinking about Colon he'd better nail a big stocking to the fireplace.
Pastime
LMAO!! If it's Colon, Ozzie would need to hang a Christmas forklift.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
LMAO!! If it's Colon, Ozzie would need to hang a Christmas forklift. Yeah a big red and white one with chasing lights running around the frame and Frank Thomas in a santa suit doing the driving.

NUKE_CLEVELAND
If the Sox could sign Colon and Wells they would need a second plane Yeah, a big Fed-Ex 747 just for the 2 widebodies.
Pastime
I still say a proven starting pitcher is priority #1. I may be wrong, and sometimes am, but I still contend that it's the team's biggest offseason priority.
Texsox
I agree. I expect E-Lo to cool and Mark to heat up and we'll net even. Loosing Colon without a clear replacement is a step back. We need a Dontrell Willis' type to emerge from our farm system. The pool is deep enough that someone should shake out, I hope we are smart enough to know who it is.
