southsider2k5
Early start in Anaheim and add Steve Sullivan to the injured and not playing. Yakubov called up from Norfolk to play todays game.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
Allready 2-0 in the first period, I dont even know why Im a fan anymore. I really can say with confidence that these are the biggest bunch of pussies Wirtz has ever put together, and that right now the Hawks could not beat a singal team in the NHL. Sad, Sad, Sad HERE COME THE HAWKS THE MIGHTY .....SLACK HAWKS!!! I get my hockey fix watching old games on tape or other games from around the leauge cause these losers are just too pathetic for my taste. southsider2k5
I was just happy to see that 3 of the rookies scored last night (Yakubov in his first ever NHL game.) With the Hawks top 4 players out they aren't going to beat anybody right now. The best we can hope for is that the kids keep developing. Yup, lets keep em developing so another team can sign them after they dare to ask for their market value and Dollar Bill runs em outta town. NUKE_CLEVELAND
Your exactly right. Yesturday I was talking to my dad about the Hawks, how we could STILL have Ronieck, Cheli, Amonte, Belfour, and dont forget Hull, which I think is the biggest kicker of all, we past him 7 times in the draft, 7. You think in like the 5th round they whould have taken him just out of respect. So in 6, 7 years, we will be saying, "O' man, can you imagine a team with Calder, Arnason, Bell and Rutuu all together!" Good Times. This club went to s*** the day they traded Roenick away. That was ripping the heart out of the team. The last year Roenick was here the 'Lanche barley squeaked by us in the second round of the playoffs (3 OT games if I remember right ) and went on to win the cup so instead of adding one or 2 final pieces to get it done for the fans what does Dollar Bill do? He gave him away for a sissy little soviet f***** (Zhamnov) and put his wallet ahead of the fans & it has been the case ever since. Hawks fans are deluding themselves if they think this team is even going to be above 500 again till that old bastard is gone.
southsider2k5
Down 1-0 in the 2nd to LA on a SHG. THis is that stat that saids it all. The Hawks PP is 3-57, but they have given up 4 SHG in those same 57 chances, so their powerplay is getting out scored by the team that is shorthanded over that stretch. The Critic
ONE POINT out of a possible 12 on the November Death March. Where's that stupid "First Place BlackHawks" thread NOW? Foley just said the old "they're clearly playing better than their record would indicate" excuse/wishful thinking line. Yeah, they're playing better than their record - just not playing better than ANY OPPONENT in the last few weeks!!! Sad sad sad.... Last-minute consolation goal by Calder.....WHOOPDEE DOOOOOOO. NUKE_CLEVELAND
We aren't winning anything with the Norfolk Admirals out there they aren't going to win at all. They only have 1 player with a major injury that is worth a s*** & that's Daze. Zhamnov: Soft ass sissy that tries to make a perfect play every time instead of just shooting the damn thing when he has the best chance. T-Blow: Oh please. Leighton or Andersson are just as good as he is. I used to laugh at this slug when he was with Montreal & point out to my buds all the soft ass goals he gave up. Now we're stuck with him. ACK! I'd argue with you about T-Bo. How many games have we lost since he went out on last minute or OT goals. T-Bo has his lapses but nothing like the game losers that both of these kids are giving up. Also add Sullivan to that list of important guys not playing.
