DBAHO
The odd thing is, Davis and Williams will likely be coming off the bench. Yet they can still start when needed too. I just love the versatility of this team. I'm not saying they will win it all, but they should be one of the better teams in the East...like top 4. I think this team will continue to get better and you'll see them in the playoffs...but there is probably some bias there and I still have to see the team play at this level, if not a higher level (cause there were still mistakes) for an extended period of time. Well if da Bulls don't end up makin da playoffs (I think they'll finish top 4) I can see em shippin one of Curry and or Chandler out. And if my Magic do end up with da no. 1 pick, I can seriously see em offerin it for Curry or Chandler to finally get that Center they really need. I've heard rumors of Crawford wantin to leave, hopefully with Skiles there now Hinrich and Crawford can learn to play together, and then they could possibly ship out Jay Williams and E Rob to get a stud SF like Kirilenko. Chisoxfn
I think this trade just changes all that. Crawford is now gonna be the centerpiece of the guards and this offense is designed to get all the athletes there points, not just the big men, which is what Cartwright wanted. JC will excell in this offense and I truly think Skiles learned from his mistakes in Phoenix and there is no doubt he knows the game. The big question is how much better will JC get, now that he knows he has his shots coming cause it will make him that much better of a passer, and so much less selfish, imo. southsider2k5
Things I learned last night... #1 Jamal Crawford is not a point guard. As much as they want him to be, he is definately a scoring guard, who is much better when he doesn't have the responsibility of ball handling #2 Crawford and Hinrich is a great combo. Where one is weak the other is strong and it makes for a good backcourt. They do seem to feed off one another. #3 Williams is a great spark plug. It is a perfect guy for Eddy Curry. This guy leads by example, where as Charles Oakley lead by attitude, which didn't work at all. #4 Not sure if this was Skiles or not, but the Bulls didn't panic when they got down big early. They were down 10 pts quick last night, and it didn't phase them at all, where lately they have just given up. #5 Scrapping the Triangle will be a huge bonus for this team. They are too young and athletic to need to run such a complex and structured offense. They need to get up and down the floor.
WHarris1
So far it appears as if Skiles and the new guys have don wonders already on Eddy Curry. Usually he is kind of a pussy down low if you know what I mean. Last night he was throwing it down and playing physical.
