zach23
to put on some Tom Waits. Cold weather, being drunk, and listening to some Tom Waits. His music isn't the same in the summer. Give me a Winchester rifle and a whole box of shells Blow the roof off the goat barn, let it roll down the hill The piano is firewood, Times Square is a dream I find we'll lay down together in the cold, cold, ground The cold, cold ground In the cold, cold ground

zach23
That's how I spend a cold winter's day. Besides sitting in dark room with a bottle of Night Train listening to Tom Waits, my other favorite winter activities are: Watching jello freeze. Producing musicals where the performers are all inanimate objects. Last week I did "Guys and Dolls" with leftover foods from the holidays. Nathan Detroit was played by a ham bone and an unwanted fruitcake gave a four star performance as Sarah Brown. The whole production was done inside a Nativity scene manger. Randomly exposing body parts to frosbite. Quietly meditating and contempalting the genius of the "Cannonball Run" films. Continuing my project to develop a more efficient and cheaper source of Oxygen and eliminate our foreign dependance on air. Raising the roof, "Gangsta style". I'm not sure exactly how this is supposed to be done, but I put on a lot of my wife's jewelry and strut around the house with a beer while calling her and the dogs my beyoches. After I am called a dork and sent outside to shovel snow, I tell all the neighbors that I'm down with that and can hook them up. They nod and I go back inside to watch TV. doubleM23
well they are the only chicago team that has been consistently productive. Please, the White Sox have been the most consistently competitive team from Chicago since 1990, as pathetic as that may seem.
zach23
I love the Hawks, but they just had a four year span where they were one of the worst teams in hockey (1997-2001). That isn't consistently productive.
Guest hotsoxchick1
ahh zach where as if you watched the wolves you would have seen consistantly productive wins each and every year ..........lol............theres a difference between scrappy hockey and crappy hockey..............we know which the hawks play............ zach23
Sorry, I just can't get interested in the Wolves. Minor league teams just have no appeal to me. Plus, when I pick a team I stick with them no matter what.
