bjmarte
This is a double positive. Not only are we guaranteed not to be stuck with this loser in the rotation this year, maybe now KW will be forced to make a move. Boy am I glad I'm not a Milwaukee fan, they are gonnal blow! :fyou Royce :fyou Todd Good riddance.
witesoxfan
The only bad thing about this is is the fact that the Cubs will consistently beat the living daylights out of the Brewers now....they will then consider themselves contenders since they can beat the worst team in the major leagues(even worse than Detroit or Tampa Bay). RedPinStripes
YYYYYYYYYYYYESSSSSSS!!!!!!!! I heard it on the radio on the way home from work! Good news to hear! Addition by subtraction. I dont think Todd was meant for the AL. And he sucks! I'd much rather see Stewart or Rauch out there then Ritchie. At lleast they have potentail to be good. bjmarte
I'm sure Royce would argue that it is the other way around <_>
Chisoxfn
That surprised the heck out of me. I guess the Brewers think they are going to the series now. Maybe we could trade Jeff Liefer for Ben Sheets.

Jim Fainter
Well, we still have Ed Yan to show for that miserable trade. Do you think Kenny is praying that he will hit .280 in AA?

Chisoxfn
Well, we still have Ed Yan to show for that miserable trade. Do you think Kenny is praying that he will hit .280 in AA? Yan came in the same deal as the Marte trade. The Sox deal can now officially be declared a bust, but at least we didn't give up any hall of famers. Fogg ISN'T anything special and I will be proved right as he flounders this season. Kip is decent, but he wouldn't of amounted to anything with the Sox and most would agree with me on that regard. At least the Sox didn't try to milk the deal and act like it wasn't a failure, like the Cubs did for so long with the Hundley signing. Ritchie will probably pitch better though, especially when he goes back to playing for a crap team with no pressure.
Guest wsc425
I guess we owe Milwaukee from the Valentin trade. its ok, ritchie was a cancer anyway. Royce was a good man, but didn't produce.

We got Eldred in that deal too. He had a career year in 2000 for the White Sox.
cwsox
I'm sorry we didn't sign Ritchie for a reasonable price. I agree with whoever posted that he might eat up NL hitting on a team with no pressure. And for sure we need to sign another pitcher now. Soxplosion
Toad and the Choice on the same team again?! Watch out folks! This team is going to the Series! And theyre gonna win it! LOL...
cwsox
I think Milwaukee has strengthened itself more than that minor league north side team has. It would be great to see the brewers finish ahead of that team.
Mathew
The words Milwaukee and strength don't belong in the same sentence, I hate the Cubs but Royce and Ritchie are no better than K King and whatever assbag pitcher with a 6era they plan to ditch. greg775
I could care less if Ritchie turns it around. He sucked for us and we needed him big time. He was disgracefully bad. His pitches screamed hit me all season. Good luck to him, but just like when we got rid of Lofton and Alomar, I don't care how they did on their new teams, just to get them off our team. Same with Royce and Ritchie. They had to go. They both sucked!!

witesoxfan
I won't miss him. what is this, mil is becoming the sox minor league team? Milwaukee was once a minor league team, and they were once owned by Bill Veeck. I'm sure we all know who Bill Veeck is. LDF, maybe you're right.
