Julian Wright

Are you sure...I have been checking some inside recruiting sources and none of them have mentioned anything about it...On a different note, I think Wright is a little overrated...He is extremely athletic, but is a poor shooter.

Yeah, but he is also 6'8 and is a good passer and ballhandler.

Don't get me wrong, I think Wright is going to be a very good player, however, the combination of lack of weight and inability to hit a jumper consistantly leads me to believe that he is a little overrated. Some people have him in the top 10 and I think that is a little too high for him. He is extremely athletic, but until he adds some weight and/or improves his jumper I don't see him as a top 10 calibur player.

I see him between 10 and 20 personally

From the hoopscoop\Bullseye:

We also finally caught up with Roy Schmidt of the Illinois Bulls-eye Report last night and he tells us that it appears to be only a matter of time before the University of Kansas gets 6'7 Jr Julian Wright from Flossmoor (Homewood-Flossmoor) IL, who is ranked #5 nationally in the junior class by the HOOP SCOOP. Obviously this is a case, whereby, Jayhawks head coach Bill Self and assistant coach Norm Roberts have taken advantage of their strong Illinois ties, but the real connection appears to be their close connection to Illinois Warriors AAU coach Larry Butler, who is the one controlling Wright's recruitment.

Alright, it wouldn't surprise me if he signed with Kansas.  I have heard Self is working him hard and he has been recruiting him longer than Weber.  His brother has been saying he really hasn't started the recruiting process though.

Bruce Weber's brother Dave Weber? If that's the case who would ask him that and why would they ask him that?

Julian Wright's brother said that this rumor is false. I still would not be one bit surprised if he commits to Kansas eventually though.
