SoxFanForever
Do you guys have any PS2 basketball games you would recommend? I tried the Sega version last year and heard the new EA Nba game was good. Any thoughts or info you guys could tell me from personal experiences? SnB
I bought NCAA march madness 2004 and love it. it's not a super-simulation game, but it's also not a real arcade game. It's a nice inbetween and probably the funnest b-ball game i've played in awhile.

SoxFanForever
Thanks DBAH0. I am really considering NBA Live 2004 right now. As far as the new ESPN baseball goes I will definitely give it a look. Two years ago I liked Triple play, this year I liked MVP by EA a lot and that might be another good one. I like ones where you can GM and build a team. Too bad in MVP I made trades and picked up guys so easily that when I simmed i went 152-10. Oh well, thanks for the info
SnB
Can't u play with a team of Mascots? yeah, it's hilarious. I'm not doing so hot in my dynasty with Illinois, i'm 18-7 i believe, lost 4 of my last 6 conference games. It's been a rough couple of days. I just lost to Indiana, yes Indiana! that's alright my RPI rating is really good though.
SnB
Ive got World Series baseball 2k3, and the gameplay is great. The Dynstay mode kinda sucks, because the farm system is basically not there, and its not very in depth. The commentary sucked, but that article said John Millar and Karl Ravich are in it this year, and I like them both. THe player progression is really nice. Like a player has a potential till there 28, then it goes away, so like a young stud pitcher can go it in ratings really good, and you get graded like A,B,C,D,F. If they just revamp the Dynasty mode, make it more indepth, the game whould be a 5 out of 5, great gameplay, and im excited for this years. i bought high heat this year, well last year....i guess, whatever. I liked it, i might switch it up for next year. I've heard good things about both WSB and All star Baseball so we'll see.

The only downside to this game is a few of the freshman weren't put into the game. For example, Ewing Jr.'s not on the Hoosiers roster. SnB
Damn, damn, damn. I made it to the sweet 16 w/ illinois my first year but lost to St. Josephs. They ended up going all the way to the NC to lose to the tarheels by one.
The Bones
How's the recruiting in MM2004 dynasty mode? The offseason is almost my favorite thing about sports games.
SnB
How's the recruiting in MM2004 dynasty mode? The offseason is almost my favorite thing about sports games. decent, nowhere near as good as NCAA football. If a recruit is not interested in going to your school at the beginning, then there is no chance of you getting him. You can basically only deal with interested prospects. So this game isn't the best for recruiting.

But once you get the controls down you should love it. And its cool to play online im 9-1 (should be 10-0 but the f***ing lag killed me last game).
