Rock, Choke, Jayhawk

Kansas is number one. Best team ever in the world. Go Kansas. Undefeated national champions. No one can play with the Jayhawks. All five of their starters will be first team All-Americans, and their backups will be second or third team. Kansas could beat any pro basketball team.

LOL.....Dicky V probably said that this morning. What's he saying now?

I can't stand Dicky V after the Hoosiers went to the championship game the other year. He is such a bandwagoner. For example, we were playing OU in the Final Four. Dicky V was saying that Hoosiers would have no shot against Sampson's Sooners, blah blah blah....and then after we destroyed OU, you see Dicky V on ESPN saying "I knew it all along baby, the Hoosiers...The Sooners never had a shot against these Hoosiers; they shouldn't of showed up etc."

I believe the polls do come out on Monday nights.  I believe you're right w/ having Florida being the new #1.  I can't believe UNC's back this year.  I'm not so quick to give all the credit to Williams though.  These are Matt Daughtery's guys.

Actually they were mostly Gutherage's recruits. The big 3 sophomores all committed to UNC before Gutherage got fired, IIRC. I don't know if Dohrety managed to get any of that team committed or not. But I know for a fact that May and McCants both committed during their junior years of HS.

Well at least we agree that Roy may not deserve the praise he's getting just yet. UNC may have been back last year if Sean May never got hurt. UNC got off to a similar start last year, and once he went down, the season did too.

Roy Williams already has eluded the fact that he probably doesn't have the job at UNC, if Sean May doesn't get hurt last night.
