DBAHO
Here's Bob Fontaine's replacement, The White Sox named Dave Wilder as the organization's director of player development Monday. Wilder replaces Bob Fontaine, who left the White Sox after four seasons to become vice president of scouting with the Seattle Mariners. Wilder, 43, joined the organization on Nov. 5 as a special assistant to general manager Ken Williams. Wilder spent the last four seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers, working as a special assignment scout in 2003 and after serving as vice president-player personnel from 2000-02. winninguglyin83
I guess nobody from the Los Angeles Clippers was available. That's pitiful.
Chisoxfn
This is a better move then its looked at. The Brewers have slowly turned things around and now have one of the better farms system out there. Supposedly Wilder had a lot to do with this. I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing. I think Wilder was one of the guys that was big on Posdenik, but don't quote me on that.

I'd like to see him go afta some more pitching and infielders in this year's draft. Hopefully he'll do a good job, it's a very important position.
