BurlyMan56
Since we have a cheap ass owner by the name of Reinsdorf, here is a list of pitchers KW might take a long look at... Starters Miguel Batista Cory Lidle-Minor League deal, incentive based Pedro Astacio-Minor League, also heavily incentive based Shane Reynolds-Minor League deal, invite to ST Jamey Wright-Minor League deal Bullpen Antonio Osuna Al Levine- wouldnt mind him at all, pitched great for both TB and KC Arthur Rhodes-won't be too cheap, but still would be a nice addition Jeff Nelson-also wouldnt be too cheap..but still a nice one...highly doubt it Roberto Hernandez-could come back for another go in a Sox uni... IF botch can be traded and since we supposedly were interested in Guardado... What about Ugueth Urbina??? would come cheaper than Eddie
WSoxShuf
My two year old cousin wants a 3 year deal with mcdonalds fries as an incentive, can we afford that.
whitesoxin'
Wasn't Pedro Astacio the most highly touted pitcher at the trading deadline a few years back while playing for Colorado? He might not be that bad of a signing, especially for a minor league contract.
Flash Tizzle
What Nelson. Good righthander that has been ignored this offseason. If the Sox get Rhodes, Nelson and our bullpen is complete. But this scenario wont be likely with the amount of money they will be earning.
BurlyMan56
Thanks Flash...Just stumbling through the Sun-Times and missed him and Roberto Hernandez....
Chisoxfn
Al Levine, now I like that name. HE is a solid reliever that can throw a lot of innings and has a pretty a good sinker if I recall. He's definately a quality reliever and I wouldn't mind bringing him back to the Southside. Man it seems like so long ago that Levine was a Sox. DonkeyKongerko
My two year old cousin wants a 3 year deal with mcdonalds fries as an incentive, can we afford that. The short answer is no. The long answer is you can't spend a dollar when you have 50 cents.
sox-r-us
How about maybe getting Sirotka or Parque back? Or how about Todd Ritchie? I swear it was like yesterday when we won the AL Central and had TONS and I repeat TONS of supposedly great young pitching....where did it go?????????? Parque, Sirotka, Rauch, Wright, Garland, Kip Wells, etc etc
supernuke
My two year old cousin wants a 3 year deal with mcdonalds fries as an incentive, can we afford that. The fries would have to be his salary, salting them would be the incentive.
