Cy Young Porzio
steve mariucci was finally fired by the niners who i think are pretty stupid in doing so. I guess they are looking for someone more outspoken, and since he couldnt get them any farther they got tired of him. I think he may go to jacksonville which would be great for that team. I thought Mariucci also wanted out of SF? Who knows. Who cares. Too bad we don't have a professional football team that axes a head coach after losing in the playoffs! DOH! SoxieGirl30
Who cares. Too bad we don't have a professional football team that axes a head coach after losing in the playoffs! If only we could have that problem consistently , I think I would actually cheer for the Bears.

Cy Young Porzio
i dont think mooch is gonna have a head coachig job this year, yet take a job of any kind in the nfl. Maybe the year after a good deal will open up for him that he will take.

cwsox
If the 49s had fired him sooner, he might have taken the Michigan State job, where he'd be with his best friend from high school days, Tom Izzo. But the job was already filled by Louisville's coach. I bet he will take a year off. The Bears could use him. So could the Dolphins.
SI1020
Every time I see this topic I'm thinking Mariotti instead of Mariucci. No such luck I guess.
